AG Aberdeen
My Story
The Honeypot Children’s Charity is the UK charity partner of international law firm Addleshaw Goddard.
Honeypot supports children aged 5-12 who are young carers for a sick or disabled parent or sibling. The charity provides a range of continuous services that meets the multiple needs of each individual, including respite breaks, educational booster breaks, wellbeing grants, healthy eating and nutrition and pastoral support. These services reduce the anxiety and stress of caring, help children to build confidence to succeed in their education, meet the basic needs that no child should be without and help each child to reach their full potential.
The charity, whose objectives both align with AG's CSR mission to help young people unlock their full potential, was chosen based on votes from over 1000 UK staff.
All of this is why 18 members of the AG team in Aberdeen have signed up to take part in the Kiltwalk, with one team doing the Wee Wander and the other the Mighty Stride – all looking to raise as much as they can for Honeypot. We can’t wait to join everyone else on what will be an unforgettable day!
